There’s a saying about the items a bride should carry or wear on her wedding day for good luck. It goes like this,
“Something old, something new,
Something borrowed, something blue,
And a silver sixpence in her shoe.”
For these brides, their “something blue” would already be their bouquets. With very limited choices on naturally blue flowers, we find it challenging yet exciting to create designs for this theme. Here’s a round up on our blue themed weddings.
For this wedding, we used blue hydrangeas, blue Ecuadorian roses and white roses for the bride. The entourage held a similar yet smaller version of the bride. We used blue hydrangeas, white roses and gerbera daisies.
I already featured this set last December but I want to feature it again because it fits the theme. Although we used hydrangeas again for this wedding, we used a lighter shade of blue to give that winter feel. We combined it with white Ecuadorian roses and misty blue fillers. The rest of the entourage flowers were mostly white to contrast their blue gowns.
