I only met Geizyl once before their wedding. She was with her mom because Joseph was assigned elsewhere. I learned that he was an airforce officer. After our discussion and conversation, I admired at how she supports and respects her husband to be. She was full of excitement and hope about her upcoming wedding.
Joseph and Geizyl met in high school. Joseph pursued Geizyl when he was studying as an airforce officer at the Philippine Military Academy.
Recently, Joseph graduated from his training and is now certified pilot for the airforce.
I love what Geizyl said during her wedding day:
“This day made me believe that dreams do come true and nothing is impossible.. We planned, argued, cried, and prepared our wedding filled with love.. Through our hardships and commitment, here it is.. This is what we prayed for.. We are the best blessing to one another.. We promise to put this relationship to forever and keep God at the center of it.”
My prayer for Joseph and Geizyl is that they may continually remember to always put God in the center of their marriage. May they show support, love and respect for one other. May that their marriage be filled with excitement and hope as they serve God and the country.
